The HTC-E/NCC-E (External Casing) curved MIG semi-automatic overlay gun assemblies use an axial alignment of the casing to reduce wire feed pressure and improve current tip life. The gun assembly is available with an extended handle (20") and slide switch to help keep the welder away from the extreme conditions of preheat and high amperages required for overlay applications, steel casting repairs, surfacing and rebuilding applications, in the forging industry for the repair or reclamation of forging dies (also utilized in rams, sow blocks, die holders and die shanks when increased hardness is required), and in the steel mill industry for steel gears, arbors, shafts and couplings.

These semi automatic hand held curved torches utilize the same forward nozzle/gas nozzle assemblies and features of the pistol grip torch. This allows a flexible and low inventory of replacement parts due to interchangeability of these models using .035" through 7/64" diameter wire, and are ideal for welding with 3/64" AL and 1/16" AL wire. The trigger switch assembly is the momentary contact type positionable where desired on the gun.

The Model HTCE-A/NCCE-A provide Water-Cooled nozzles that accommodate gas nozzles 11/16" through 15/16" I.D. for hard, cored and aluminum wire applications.
